In yesterday’s post titled, “How to Get Tons of Traffic for Your Blog”, I talked about 3 sources that can send unlimited traffic to your website. Taking the discussion forward, I will talk about 3 more potent traffic sources in this blog post.
Facebook Pages
If you have not exploited the power of Facebook pages yet then today is the day to do so. Create a Facebook page, brand it in your image, call your visitors there, announce some freebies, and start talking to them. And midst all those bouts of conversations, do not forget to encourage the participants to visit your website. Including call to action is important.
Forum participation
If there is one way to create an expert out of you then it is forum participation. It also gets you tons of traffics and backlinks. You must register yourself in couple of forums in your niche, and participate in discussion there. Do not provide promotional material in the forums. It will not only push the visitors away from your answers, but it may also get you thrown out of the community. You should provide accurate answers to the questions asked in the forum, without doing any self-promotion. Leave the promotion part to the signature line.
You must create a signature-line that attracts attention and induce call to action.
Blog commenting
This may or may not get you backlinks, but it surely will get you traffic provided your comments are thoughtful and adding value to the discussion started by the blog post. Thank you comments will not get you traffic, so do not waste your time and energy on that—unless you get high quality backlink. Try to be the first in line to comment. This way you can ascertain that your comments are read by every visitor. This is a nice way to steal traffic from a well-established blog.
